Marketing Research Association. MRA promotes excellence in the opinion and marketing research industry by providing members with a variety of opportunities for advancing and expanding their marketing research and related business skills. The Association is also an important forum where marketing researchers discuss common problems, share ideas, and combine their collective efforts to build industry information.

 

Council for Marketing and Opinion Research. The function of CMOR is to keep the public informed about the role of the consumer in the research process.

 

FocusVision. Founded in 1990, FocusVision introduced the first live video transmission service for focus group research. Orman Guidance Research, Inc. was the first Minneapolis facility to offer this technology. Today, FocusVision is the leading provider of video transmission and digital recording technologies for the market research industry.

Impulse Research Corporation. For the past three years Orman Guidance Research is rated one of the World’s Best Facilities in the Impulse Survey of Focus Facilities.

  • Published annually by Impulse Research Corporation, Los Angeles California
  • Contains quality ratings of focus group discussion and viewing facilities, based on a survey of over 5,000 moderators and researchers worldwide. The 2005 edition provides user ratings of the quality of facilities visited in 2004.
  • The 265 page book contains listings and ratings for over 1000 facilities in the US, Canada, Latin America, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa.
  • The 2005 edition provides access to facility ratings online as well as in the printed book.
